Calling in sick with a temporary / secondment contract

You must call in sick before 9.00 am to the Exactpi Service Centre (070-3062004) and the company where you work. You must also notify Exactpi of the address where you are convalescing, in connection with a visit from the company doctor.

If you are unexpectedly incapacitated for work, it is important that the parties involved are informed in good time. If it is more than just the flu, then there are other things to consider. Employers and employees who are incapacitated to work are jointly responsible for the reintegration in the first 2 years of illness. In our sickness procedures you can read exactly what is expected of you if you are sick, and what to expect from Exactpi. It is important whether you work on the basis of a secondment or a temporary employment contract.

Notification of recovery with a temporary / secondment contract

Do you have a secondment contract (for a fixed term)? On the day you are better, you must call the Exactpi Service Centre (070-3062004) before 9:00 am to notify us of your recovery.

Continued payment in case of illness

Depending on the phase and contract form, as a flex worker at Exactpi you are entitled to sickness benefits or to continued payment of your wages in the event of illness.

Do you have a temporary employment contract (uitzenden)?
Exactpi pays 90% of your salary while your temporary contract is still in effect. There is one waiting day, so you will be paid from the second day of illness. These payments are taken care of by Exactpi. Are you still sick when your contract expires, then you fall under the Sickness Act and we report you sick to FlexCom4, which handles the Sickness Act for us.

Do you have a secondment contract (for a fixed term)?
Exactpi continues to pay 90% of your salary as long as your temporary secondment contract is still in effect. There is one waiting day, so you get paid from the second day of illness. These payments are taken care of by Exactpi. If you are still sick when your contract expires, you will fall under the Sickness Act and we will report you sick to the UWV.
